Effective June 18, 2026. This preview policy describes the current approach and should be reviewed before App Store submission.

Local-First Household Data

Expanse Planner is designed around local household workspaces. Household names, cashflow records, planning notes, and `.household` exports are stored on the user's device or in user-selected files unless a future reviewed feature clearly states otherwise.

Feedback And Identity

Preview feedback may be stored locally in the app. If a user chooses a GitHub submission path, the feedback content and associated GitHub identity are handled through that explicit action.

Release Controls And Diagnostics

Preview builds may use release controls to make features available gradually, measure aggregate feature usage, and disable unfinished capabilities. These controls should not include private household content.

Review Before Public Launch

This policy is a preview draft. App Store privacy answers and the final public policy must be checked against the exact submitted build, enabled SDKs, feedback flows, and any account or purchase features.
